Vehicles year 2000 or newer always need a title.
Changing a name on a registration requires that the name be changed on the title.

Moving from another NH town: No need to re-title your vehicle. You need only to bring your photo ID, current registration, and proof of residency. Moving from out of state: We will need the title in your name, photo ID, current registration, and proof of residency.

If your Decals have been lost in the mail you may obtain replacements at the Town Clerk’s office or the DMV substation.
You must complete form (RDM 123) and provide a valid driver’s license and valid registration.
The DMV will replace your registration and decals at no charge 14 days or more after having been issued. Contact the DMV at 603-227-4000. If you choose to get a replacement at the Town Clerk’s office, State regulations require the Clerk to charge $18.00 for the State and $4.00 for the decal per registration and $3.00 for the Town.

You will need to bring the title to the vehicle.
Legal paper naming the actual trust and trustees and signatures for the first vehicle registration in the trust.

Cost is $2.00 for the Town and $25 for the State

If you have lost your registration but have your decals you will need to complete Form RDM 125.
A replacement registration costs $18.00.
